Nassau County Federal Tax Lien Computer

The Federal Tax Lien computer system is very easy to use. Screen A will let you enter the name you are searching. Enter last name, then first name with a space but no punctuation. If you are searching a corporation, just enter the name of the corporation. After you have entered the name and press enter, the computer will display Screen B. If the name you are searching appears, tab down to that name. The name will be highlighted. Press enter and the computer will display screen C.

Screen C displays all the pertinent information on the lien. The taxpayer is the person the lien is against; the address is the address the government lists for the taxpayer. The date filed is the day the lien was levied. The status refers to whether or not the lien has been satisfied. The dollar amount is the amount of the lien. Instructions for the use of this computer appear on the screen.
